i c d light

I have seen the light and now i'm hooked. Recently, a client of mine related that they were in need of some very specific lamps and i set off to find them. I have failed so far. I've looked hi and low, tirelessly digging and driving all over california in search of the right lamps at the right price. Fortunately for me (and you if you need lighting and we all do!) i have discovered the beauty of illumination . Actually, to be truthful, i have been very aware of lighting, mostly from my prior architectural background. But this is different. This is not the new crap we used in new developments. This stuff will never be produced again. Its hand made. Designed and manufactured mostly in the US. The designs are clean and simple. The craftsmanship is unparalleled. Shopping for these pieces has made me realize that we don't just love retro stuff because its "cool", we love it because it was produced at moment it our history when great design combined with great craftsmanship, new technologies, and the best materials. We no longer have these qualities in attainable pieces. The amazing thing is that these wonderful pieces are still available! can you imagine an IKEA lamp lasting more then 15 years?
You can count on me to keep posting new lamps and fixtures, please let me know if you want something in particular!
i have 2 of these 'pumpkin' lights. They are sooo 70's but thats OK! they are nice mood setters, kind of nautical
This thing has been on my website for a while now and i'm glad it hasn't sold because I've grow attached! It is beat up and old but its unlike anything i've seen.
They little guy looks like a cute little spaceman. thats all.
this 'can' reading light is priced at $125 on the site. I know it seems high, but its really not. This thing looks like it was never ever used. and its a top of the line lamp. i should make it $250! but i won't.
lucite 'spaghetti' lamp. If you need a focal hanging lamp these cant be beat. Even when there off they're on.

this might be a Walter von Nessen Lamp. If it is, its worth $$$$. He's worth the googling if you haven't heard or him...
This lamp is for sale at a store called the vintage collective in Long beach. I think the price is $1500 if i remember right. It may be an Arco lamp.
this is my favorite one so far. I don't know the maker/designer or the year it was produced. all i know is that its a beautiful lamp and i'm sitting under it right now. please don't buy it!
this guy is cool. The base id solid iron/steel and it weights a ton! great lines and functionality!
